ltd edition of 200

When we first heard the Black Math LP by the Chicago based lo-fi bedroom pop trio on Permanent Records, we were pretty much smitten. As they stated, the record is loaded with dark, ‘80s UK cassette culture influenced, synth pop with guitar, cello, sparse reverb-drenched vocals, and drum machine beats you could dance to if you really wanted to. Seeing as the album already draws from the cassette culture, we figured it was a bit of a crime for the original cassette version to be out print. A couple emails later, and we fixed that problem! We are exceptionally excited to present to you the self-titled release by Black Math on the wonderful Plustapes cassette format, featuring all new artwork AND a digital download. Fans of Joy Division, Tubeway Army, early Depeche Mode and OMD, and/or more contemporary stuff like Blank Dogs and Gary War will definitely dig this.
