It’s only fitting that Radar Eyes’ first release would be presented on cassette tape. Their sound – recorded with the help of the reverberant-friendly slabs of concrete lining Pilsen rehearsal spaces – just could not resonate properly within the microscopic space of binary. The Radar Eyes cassette needs to be lost in that pile of tapes you had on your floor while living in that dingy basement back in ’87. Remember the one? Your first-wave post-punk and hardcore tapes were beginning to go thin from overplay while the shoegaze, alt. rock and noise pop ones were slowly taking over.
